Platform is delighted to welcome Making Tracks to the venue this October for what will be the first public performance held inside our venue since February last year.
After incubating new collaborative works during a two-week residency at Cove Park on the west coast of Scotland, the Fellows go on tour, showcasing their own music and new collaborations at some of the country’s leading venues.
Guided by the two central themes of musical roots and nature reverence, Making Tracks is also founded upon the idea that the collaborative creation and sharing of music is an ideal vehicle for crossing cultural divides. This special live performance offers audiences an opportunity to hear the product of this unique collaboration and the material created during the recent residency at Cove Park.
We are delighted to be working with partners from the Federation of Scottish Theatre and UK Theatre to support audiences to ‘See it Safely’ at Platform - as such we require those booking tickets to:
- Avoid travelling to the venue if you feel unwell and have any COVID symptoms
- Bring a face mask to wear when moving around the venue and throughout the performance
- Enter the venue from the main entrance located in the car park off Westerhouse Road
The Auditorium at Platform is well ventilated and hand-washing and sanitising stations are accessible throughout the venue. Although our cafe is currently closed, a selection of non-alcoholic refreshments - tea, coffee, water etc. will be available.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
