What is the workshop about?
This workshop is happening right at the same time as COP26. To keep things topical, you will be encouraged you to look at waste from a different perspective, to find beauty and purpose in the discarded by using paper offcuts and risograph test prints to create your own compositions. At the end of the workshop, you will leave with your own compositions and a collage kits including your own selection of offcuts and test prints to keep on experimenting in your own time afterward.
Who is this for?
This event is for anyone ages 18+ interested in collage and design. This workshop is suitable for all levels, no previous experience and skills are necessary.

The Alchemy Experiment is located at 157Byres Road, the venue's nearest tube station is Hillhead.
About the venue:
The upper exhibition space where the workshop will taking place is fully accessible from ground level on Byres Road. However, please note the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible, they are located downstairs and only accessible via a flight of stairs.

Please note this event will be taking place during COP26, be aware of road closure and transport disruptions.
COVID-19 Guidelines:
All attendees will be required to check-in as they entered the venue for track & trace purposes and to wear face covering throughout the duration of this workshop, unless they are mask exempt. Hand sanitiser will be accessible for anyone on entry and throughout the event. We also encourage attendees to do a rapid lateral flow test prior to the event for peace of mind to ensure the safety of others.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
