In this workshop, you will learn how to carve a ring that you have designed from jeweller's wax. We will introduce you to some of the different types of wax and help you experiment with them.
We will provide all the tools you will need to get started. At the end of the day, you will have a finished piece that we will send off to be cast in the metal of your choice. We will finish and polish your ring before packaging it up and posting it back to you. During this session, you will get a feel for working with wax and have the opportunity to ask any questions / get information about where to cast pieces yourself.
We will break for lunch between 1-2 pm. You will have enough time to make two rings. If you wish to get them both cast there will be an extra fee. There will be optional extras available such as gemstones and casting in gold, these can be discussed on the day.
