About Christmas Cinema - POSTPONED

We are thrilled to share the line up of films that make up our pop-up Christmas cinema... we think there's something in there for everyone!

Monday 20th December
7:30pm: Home Alone (PG)
When little Kevin McCallister is accidentally left behind when his family dashes off on a Christmas trip, he is left to defend his family's home from two bumbling burglars until the relatives return.

Tuesday 21st December
7:30pm It's a Wonderful Life (U)
George Bailey (James Stewart), beset with many personal problems, attempts a Christmas time suicide before an angel intercedes and shows him what his hometown would be like without him.

Wednesday 22nd December
3:30pm: White Christmas (U)
Irving Berlin's songs and dances are performed by two happy couples who discover that love, romance and a Christmas Eve snowfall make everyone's dreams come true.

7:30pm: Elf (PG)
When Buddy the elf grew three sizes larger than everyone else in Santa's workshop, it became clear that Buddy would never truly fit into the elf world. So Buddy decided to set off for New York City, in search of his roots and his real father.

Thursday 23rd December
3:00pm: The Muppet Christmas Carol (U)
The fabulous Muppets band together to teach Scrooge (Michael Caine) the meaning of Christmas in this charming adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic tale.

6:00pm: Die Hard (18)
New York policeman John McClane (Bruce Willis) flies to Los Angeles bearing presents and hoping to patch up his marriage. Hans Gruber is in LA to take bearer bonds from the Nakatomi Corp, where McClane's wife Holly is an executive. When the takeover becomes hostile, it's up to McClane to take on the terrorists with all the grit and determination he can muster--but not without a sense of humor.

9:00pm: Love Actually (15)
At all ages and social levels, love is the theme. Romantic love and brotherly love is the hotchpotch through out the movie. Most of the movie is filmed in London, during Christmas and the characters all ended up at Heathrow airport a very uplifting note.
