IT’S BACK! King Tut’s New Year’s Revolution has returned for 2022. The 11th edition of the festival confirms as 2022 is set to become the biggest year in the history of Scottish live music. What better way to kick off the live music calendar than by checking out some of the country’s most exciting new artists? As always King Tut’s prides itself in showcasing a broad and eclectic range of grassroots talent at what is fast becoming the best festival for fans to discover their new favourite band. Some highlights to look out for include pop rockers Dancing On Tables making their live return to Glasgow, Carly Connor’s brand of alt-country, a masterclass in chamber pop from Edinburgh’s Hamish Hawk, and Intercultural Youth Scotland hosting their 3rd Birthday Party with Lost Tones Collective playing on the night
In its 31 year history, King Tut’s has served as a platform to some of the world’s very biggest musical acts. From the well-documented discovery of Oasis, the venue has also played host to the likes of Radiohead, The Killers, Amy MacDonald and many others during their formative years.
The festival will run over 18 nights throughout January 2022 with 74 acts playing in total.
The legendary 'Golden Ticket' returns for those King Tut's revolutionaries who want to go to a few or even every gig of the festival!
