People often say there's something "nostalgic" about the sound of the Wurlitzer theatre organ. Combine this with the sentimental sounds of Christmas and you've got an afternoon of cosy, heart-warming entertainment!
This two-act show will be hosted by Aaron Hawthorne, who, following his 2019 performance at the American Theatre Organ Society’s annual convention in Rochester, New York, received the ultimate honour for a young organist by winning the international Young Theatre Organist of the Year competition, having won the UK title two years before. Only a few months later, Aaron was awarded the Ian Sutherland Award by the Cinema Organ Society, an award made directly to a player who displays outstanding talent and promise as a theatre organist.
Aaron will be introducing various artists to the stage who each will provide the perfect musical accompaniment to a December's Sunday afternoon.
Artists also appearing include:
Rosie Lavery (soprano)
David Ford (trumpet)
