Join Glasgow Jitterbugs for one of their new block of Thursday night drop-in classes!
No partner required and beginners welcome, payment on the door, no pre booking required.
Special Offer at the first class of the block on march 31st: Buy the Collegiate Shag class at 7:30pm and get the Lindy Hop class at 8.45pm FREE!
Schedule:
- Collegiate Shag (7:30-8:30pm):
We run our Collegiate Shag class progressively, meaning that 31 March, 7 April & 14 April are all suitable for absolute beginners, however, *from 21 April onwards, we will no longer cover the basic footwork so that we can cover more content. If you are new to Shag, be sure to attend at least one of the first three classes of the block in order to attend any from the 21 April & after.
- Lindy Hop (8:45-9:45pm):
All of our Lindy Hop classes are suitable for absolute beginners so you can drop in any week of the block, even if it's your first class, as we will always cover the basic footwork at the start.
Price:
1 class per night: £6
2 classes per night: £8
Class Cards: £50 (gives you 10 classes with no expiry so if you miss a week, you won't lose a class. Purchase these on the door).
Special offer on the 31 March: get both classes for only £6!
No need to book. Payment on the door by card or cash.
Covid Policy:
If you are attending with a partner, you will have the choice of rotating partners in the classes, or dancing only with your partner.
As covid numbers are still high in Scotland, we ask that you do a lateral flow test on the day and be sure it's negative before attending class.
Mask are optional.
The hall is well ventilated with all windows and doors open.
Do not come to class if:
1. You have tested positive for covid in the last 10 days
2. You feel unwell in any respect - even if it's not covid, no one wants to catch a cold or flu.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
