Join Helensburgh Art Hub with artist/creator Alison McIntosh Prentice at the Hermitage Park Pavilion to explore the life of Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh as well as her techniques in paintings using Gesso. We will look into her as an artist and her own individual achievements as well as the connection her and her husband had to Dumbarton.
You will have the opportunity to experience the technique hands on after a short demonstration and be able to take their own 'wet' creation home as well as a 'dry' creation which will have been created by Alison in advance but which gives you the opportunity to experience colouring a dry gesso piece. This in-person event is perfect for both beginners and experienced artists who want to learn new techniques and unleash their creativity.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
