An evening with Armando Iannucci, the creator of films and TV shows In The Thick Of It, Veep and The Death of Stalin.
Armando Iannucci will be in conversation with Denise Mina discussing his latest book Pandemonium - an epic mock-heroic poem, written in response to the pandemic. Armando will discuss the inspiration behind the poem and his writing relationship with the political world and the media through comedy and share the story of Pandemonium and how Obris Rex, Young Matt and his Circle of Friends, Queen Dido and the blind Dom’nic did battle with a ‘wet and withered bat’ from Wuhan.
Don’t miss this evening of entertainment with one of the UK’s most influential political satirists in British comedy.
