Grammy nominated Sugaray Rayford graces the Oran Mor Glasgow stage with a galvanizing set of electric soul and blues.
Growing up in Texas and California, Rayford drew influence from his parish, consuming gospel and soul on a daily basis.
His new album combines that love of soul with R&B grooves and lyricism akin to the blues of his roots in Texas, touching on his struggles with PTSD.
