With this exhibition we are celebrating the colour yellow, and everything it brings to mind. For The Yellow Exhibition, we invited all of the artists working in the Project Ability studios to submit artworks along the theme. We also extended a special invitation to our friends over in Edinburgh, working in the Garvald studios.
The colour yellow is associated with warmth, happiness, fun, friendship, but also with caution and electricity. It is the brightest colour that the human eye can see! It doesn’t have to be bright though, as we will see in some of the many artworks that will be on show.
The artworks in this exhibition cross all mediums and styles, which is often the case when we have a large group exhibition like this. We love to see what the artists have been inspired to create along a specific theme, and a broad theme such as this one allows for each artist to bring their own aesthetic to the gallery.
Wheelchair accessible and accessible toilets next to gallery.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
