The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is pleased to announce On a Good Day, You Can See France, the first solo exhibition in a UK public gallery of work by French American photographer Marianne Dissard, a resident of Glasgow since 2022.
On a Good Day, You Can See France is an installation of street photography made in post-Brexit pandemic England by French American photographer Marianne Dissard. It offers a snapshot of life in Ramsgate, a small harbour town in southeastern Kent some fifty kilometers across the Channel from Calais. On a good day from Ramsgate, you really can see France...
