We’re getting royally excited here at Loch Lomond Shores and preparations are in place to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee with a whole host of entertainment for all the family.
On Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd June we’ll have our children’s rides, the Loch Lomond Express land train and all our usual activities as well as two royal thrones in our mall for some fantastic, regal-style, selfie opportunities. You can also enjoy a sing-along with onsite buskers and some delicious hot food takeaway.
On Saturday the 4th we’ll have all the above and will also be welcoming Lomond Radio for a live broadcast of their tunes, some Disney princesses will be popping in for a walk around to greet our young visitors and a street market will be in full swing from 10am to 4pm for you to enjoy.
We’ll also be hosting a fun competition on Saturday for the best ‘princess’ and ‘prince’ and ‘best dressed royal’ who come along to join in the fun with great prizes on offer. All they need to do, to be in with a chance to win, is register their entry by heading over to Lomond Radio and providing them with their name and contact number and they will announce the winners live at 4pm. Prizes are: The winning Princess (12 and under) will receive a princess sash and princess tutu dress; The winning Prince (12 and under) will receive a Loch Lomond Shores t-shirt, sash and cake; and the winning royal (over 12 years, including adults) will win an afternoon tea for two at Café Zest.
And on Sunday the 5th we’ll also have The MacAndrew’s sisters coming along to perform from 11am and 3pm, street market stalls, hot food takeaway, children’s rides, Disney princesses, royal thrones for selfies and the Loch Lomond Express land train so we can keep the party going all weekend.
