The mural, which is sponsored by Bacardi, will have a summer theme and is inspired by Glasgow’s love of murals and well-known aesthetic. The new addition to the Festival Village décor will join the impressive COP26 mural which towers over the beer garden, featuring the faces of the indigenous leaders that were integral to the climate change conference.
For one day only, watch live as Josh paints whilst enjoying a refreshing drink at the huge suntrap beer garden in Glasgow’s Candleriggs Square. Festival Village offer a variety of draught beers, as well as local spirits such as Scottish handcrafted Smugglers Spirits. Why not try one of Festival Village’s new boozy slushies, or a delicious perfect serve from their bespoke summer Bombay Sapphire menu? Whatever you’re drinking, sit back, relax and enjoy the artwork from this talented local painter. The Festival Village site is also home to local Greek street food vendor Feta, who make deliciously exciting gyros and souvlaki for a mouth-watering price, so you won’t go hungry as you take in the creation of Festival Village’s new mural.
Josh will begin painting at 1pm, so make sure to get your seats early! As always, this event is family and dog friendly, and is an exciting and fascinating way to spend your Saturday afternoon in Glasgow! To book a table for over 10 people email hello@popuppros.co.uk. Otherwise this event is walk-ins only.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
