Beautifully presented in a stunning bottle designed by Hope Blamire and filled with premium gin from The Isle of Cumbrae Distillers, the first batch of 'Maura' sold out within an hour. Just as well they've made some more and are featuring it at this Geraldo's in-store tasting!
Maura is an ancient Celtic name meaning 'Star of the Sea', which celebrates Scotland's women, who helped shape its history, legends and stories of the sea. Their botanicals feature delicate wildflowers and berries from Scotland's coastline.
The incredible label design was created by Scottish artist, Hope Blamire, whose vibrant paintings capture the coastal landscapes and glistening waters of the West Coast of Scotland. Unlike a paper or plastic label, Hope's artwork has been heat-fired into the actual glass, creating a premium and permanent design, which cannot peel, crease or be damaged by water. A fantastic keepsake bottle!
Bronwyn, one of the Cumbrae distillers, looks forward to telling you all about this fabulous gin and their collaboration with Hope. Pop into Geraldo's to find out more and have a taste.
This is a free in-store tasting with no booking required.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
