Join us for #CreativeConnect this August to meet one another, connect, access peer support and hear about upcoming news & opportunities.
#CreativeConnect is our regular meet-up for those working in the Participatory Arts and Socially Engaged Practice in Glasgow to connect and mingle with one another and the Glasgow Connected Arts Network team.
Everyone is welcome, whether you are a seasoned creative or just at the beginning of your journey. #CreativeConnect aims to support and connect peers and is an informal event to help you build your network, share, collaborate and hear about participatory arts news, opportunities and funding over a cuppa.
During this event we will hear from GCAN member and established Participatory Artist and facilitator, Greer Pester who will also facilitate a skill share session around other ice breakers you could use when working creatively with groups.
Feel free to stay for the full event or drop-in /out as your commitments permit. Babies and children are welcome.
Covid 19 Safety Precautions
There are a range of Covid-19 Safety precautions in place to keep you and other guests as safe as possible during the event. The maximum capacity of the room in the venue is 40 therefore we will ensure that the number of attendees does not surpass this.
Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the venue, as well as access to hand washing facilities. It is your choice whether or not to wear a face covering, it is not mandatory but we would encourage you to do what you are most comfortable with.
You will not be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination status to attend but we kindly ask that everyone completes a Lateral Flow Test prior to the event where possible. I'm sure this goes without saying but if you get a positive result or are feeling unwell please do not attend the event - there will be plenty more you can come along to in future!
