About Hey America! Book Launch Party

Divine proudly presents "Hey America!" book launch party with Stuart Cosgrove

BOOK READING / Q&A / SIGNING SESSION / SOUL CLUB DISCO
"Hey America!" is the highly anticipated new book from award-winning author, journalist and broadcaster Stuart Cosgrove, focusing on the relationship between Black Music and the White House.

PART ONE (Spoken Word) Doors 7.30pm
The early part of the evening will be hosted by Fiona Shepherd (The Scotsman, Glasgow Music Tours) introducing the book reading and Q&A, where Stuart will be discussing his latest epic, alongside additional content from "Cassius X" (paperback newly released and film released in the Autumn). After the talk, Waterstones will be selling copies of Stuart's back catalogue ("Young Soul Rebels", the Soul trilogy etc.) which can be autographed on the night.

PART TWO (Divine Club Night) 10pm-2am
Then the lights dim, and The Admiral becomes a full blown club night (from 10pm-2am) - with Stuart joined on the decks by Bathgate's finest Lynne & Dave Girdwood (Good Good Feeling, True Soul) and Andrew Divine spinning the spectrum of soulful black American music discussed in the book - soul, R&B, funk, urban, hip-hop, Motown, go-go, northern, disco etc. etc. - all vinyl and all aimed firmly at the dancefloor.

These events are always incredibly informative and lots of fun... and sell out! Not to be missed - tickets available NOW!
