Drop in anytime between 10.30pm and 2.30pm.

First stop - Antonine Wall
Explore our Roman Antonine Wall display through the imagined stories of characters living on the Wall. You can enjoy our new immersive digital storytelling experience via your own mobile device and headphones, if you have them, or borrow the necessary kit from us if you don’t.

Can you help Centurion Ebutius make a difficult decision? Maybe you can work out what has happened to the missing Verecunda, a Caledonian girl enslaved by Romans?

Time Trail
Take the trail through time around the museum displays.

Next stop – Rock Doctors
They might not be Time Lords, but these doctors know their rocks! Bring along your own mysterious rocks, pebbles or fossils to get them identified or maybe you can tell the doctors a thing or two about where you found them? They will have some fascinating samples from our collections to show as well.

Creative Corner
Maybe your thing is to lose yourself in colour, crafts and stories? There’s something for you here too.
