Featuring honest, fragile portraits with a hint of humour, PRAYBOY is a beautiful, but unsettling photographic journey presented as a physical 60-page magazine. The playfully sacrilegious project is being released by Scottish indie publishers Haunted Girlfriend, with over 50 full-colour photos, all shot on expired (2001) 35mm film. Photographed are 14 Scottish models, burlesque performers, and SWers in faux religious settings. The busty nuns and despairing angels juxtapose like a Carry On film reimagined by Italian horror director Dario Argento. All images have been captured on film with no post editing, showcasing Kennedy’s skill as an exceptional portrait maker and storyteller.
The PRAYBOY launch will take place at the Old Hairdressers, Renfield Lane, Glasgow on the 19th of September from 7pm 'til late, and entry is free. The exhibition will include large format prints of unseen PRAYBOY photos, a confessional, instant photo booth, and an unholy communion hosted by dominatrix Miss Alice Crow. Saint or Sinner, all are welcome.

PRAYBOY will be available to buy on the night along with more zines, posters, prints, t-shirts, badges and more.
