Get your hands dirty and your sweet tooth satisfied with a short one hour workshop and discussion on beekeeping as part of Glasgow Community Food Network's Food and Climate Action project.

Honeyland Workshop - Honey and Seed Bombs

About Honeyland Workshop - Honey and Seed Bombs

The workshop will start with a honey tasting, of honey's from a variety of beekeeping styles, processing methods and some wild honey! Then, inspired by the themes of the compelling documentary Honeyland, we'll lead an open discussion on the ethics of beekeeping, our place in a sustainable and regenerative ecosystem, and how we can support our wee buzzy pals. But it won't just be talk! Together we'll make seed bombs of plants which are particularly valuable to bees, and outline other practical steps anyone can take for the bees!

The workshop will be led by Robyn and Jac from the Wash House Garden, a small market/community garden in East Glasgow which recently finished its first semester of Community Bee School, a free 10-week beekeeping course for the local community, funded by the Food & Climate Action Project.

This workshop is accompanying the film screening Honeyland which is happening at the same venue just before! Please book onto the film screening, too.

Tickets can be booked via Eventbrite
