To celebrate their fiftieth anniversary of groundbreaking feminist publishing, Virago assembled a powerhouse of authors to contribute to Furies, an anthology of short stories built around traditional terms of misogynistic abuse; and to celebrate the release of Furies, we have brought together Kirsty Logan, C. N. Lester, and Eleanor Crewes, three fantastic talents who each contributed very different kinds of story to the anthology, in a conversation chaired by Virago's publisher, Sarah Savitt!
The discussion will encompass their different responses to similar prompts, a celebration of Virago's history, and discussions of what they have found writing and the publishing industry to be like as queer women and trans people, in what promises to be one of the biggest events of the year!
