Just in time for Mother’s Day. Dancing queens - this is your time to shine! Plus, celebrate National Espresso Martini Day with Caribbean inspired cocktails at the top floor bar with a month-long takeover from Langs Rum.
Taking place Saturday 18 March from 12-4pm, get ready for four hours of ABBA music from the hit Mamma Mia films plus other favourite 70s hits - add in delicious rum cocktails and it’s the perfect Saturday in the city!
Whether you are celebrating Mother’s Day, making brunch plans with friends or know an ABBA super-fan, VEGA’s Brunch Project: Mamma Mia is set to be a fun-filled day in tribute to one of the biggest acts in the world.. It’s time to dig out your flares and platform boots and channel your inner superstar - Gimme, Gimme, Gimme a cocktail!
Tickets are £39 per person, and include welcome snacks, two Langs Rum cocktails, one brunch main meal and a half bottle of prosecco per person for VEGA’s special ‘Build Your Own’ bellini stations, plus four hours of live DJs playing back to back ABBA.
Celebrate Mother’s Day in style by treating mum to a celebration of her favourite band - from ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Waterloo’ and ‘SOS’, it’s a present that’s guaranteed to put a smile on her face. The brunch soundtrack will also feature all your favourite 70s hits, plus special prizes from Langs Rum and Instagrammable moments throughout.
Taking place the third Saturday of each month, VEGA’s Brunch Project will see the venue celebrate super fun themes, previously hosting a Girl Power themed brunch in February. March’s Mamma Mia extravaganza will feature Instagrammable moments, glitter walls, party props and non-stop ABBA hits - the perfect recipe for a Mother’s Day treat with a difference.
Glaswegians can also celebrate National Espresso Martini Day (15 March) in style with a month-long cocktail takeover from Langs Rum at the top floor bar and restaurant. Bringing a Caribbean twist to a classic cocktail, Langs Rum’s Banana Rum Espresso Martinis will be available at VEGA for the month of March at VEGA. Packed with vibrant, exotic fruit notes, Langs Banana Rum is expertly mixed with coffee liqueur and espresso for an Espresso Martini that will transport you straight to Jamaica - for a few sips at least!
The award-winning Langs Rum will launch a UK wide activation for National Espresso Martini Day in March, focussing on a twist on the popular Espresso Martini cocktail made with Langs Banana Rum at the heart of it. Visit VEGA to try out the Caribbean inspired cocktail, or follow @langsrum for more information.
Stay tuned for The Brunch Project monthly themes at @vegaglasgow with the next Brunch Project events taking place: Saturday 15 April and Saturday 20 May.
