Hamlet

Glasgow University Shakespeare Society presents Shakespeare's most famous work, with a twist, when they bring their production of Hamlet to Cottiers!

Hamlet

About Hamlet

When Hamlet sees the ghost of her dead father, she is plunged into a world of deceit, vengeance, and madness, as she pushes the bounds of morality in her quest to unearth the truth and exact revenge. But how much can Hamlet trust her family, her reality, or even herself? As Hamlet sinks deeper into “madness” and the travelling circus comes to town, the whole court is consumed by violence, deception, and tragedy.

This March, Glasgow University Shakespeare Society presents Shakespeare’s most famous work, with a twist!

Please be aware that the content warnings for this production are: violence, death, murder, discussion and depiction of suicide, mental illness, domestic abuse, misogyny, incest, fake blood, flashing lights, alcohol, and strong language.
