Come and join us for a mini Scottish traditional music concert for young children and their families. All ages welcome- from young to old!
Aimed at pre school children, Ceilidh Tots offers parents and guardians the chance to take some time out and enjoy a live concert from professional musicians whilst children can roam around freely and enjoy the tunes. The setting is informal and relaxed!
The benefits of exposing children to music early on are endless. We want to make quality music accessible for all ages- think strathspeys, reels and jigs and Gaelic Waltzes as opposed to Baby Shark!
This is an interactive relaxed session with lots of mini instruments for the wee ones to join in and lasts just under an hour. We would encourage you to enjoy it in your own way whether that’s by getting up to dance and move around or just sit back and enjoy the tunes. Children will be exposed to Scottish music in a relaxed setting and are free to roam around and experience it as they please. We also have a parachute blanket and a few other sensory elements such as bubbles.
Come and connect with other families and enjoy the tunes!
The concert is suitable for birth onwards and children can join in as little or as much as they please. Older children are welcome as well as older family and friends. Due to limited numbers tickets must be purchased for each child/adult from birth onwards. Please ensure you have purchased the appropriate adult/child ticket. Refunds are available although we ask for 24 hours notice so we can try to fill the space.
Look forward to seeing you all soon!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
