Three days of fun packed events for all the family, including performances, wellbeing and sporting activities are being held at the 2023 Barrowfield Festival!

About Barrowfield Festival

A chance to play, socialise and enjoy some good old fashioned singing and dancing, ending on a high with our community gala day, featuring Big Angie, and Robert and May Miller, amongst others! See you at the festival.

Wednesday - Wellbeing - Wednesday 9 August 2023
• Women's Empowerment Group and wellbeing activities, 10am to 12pm
• Youth sports activities, 10am to 3pm (free lunch provided)
• All abilities group, 12pm to 3pm
• Big Angie's Bingo sponsored by HS Metals (with special guests and afternoon tea), 3.30pm to 5.30pm
• Angel Anne - Psychic Floor Show, 7pm to 9pm

Thursday - Cycling and Sports - Thursday 10 August 2023
• Sport activity/game stations, 10am to 12pm (free lunch provided)
• Science Centre on Tour - FitLab exhibit, 10am-3pm
• Cycle for Sustainability event, 12pm to 3pm
• Structured sports, 1pm to 3pm
• Old school family sports day activities, 3pm to 4pm
• Youth Disco, 6pm to 7.30pm

Friday – Gala Day - Friday 11 August 2023, 12pm to 4pm
• Science Centre on Tour - BodyVision exhibit
• Live music with Robert and May Miller
• Karaoke with Mima
• Big Angie on Tour
• Bouncy castles and inflatables
• Petting Zoo
• Face painting
• Street Play with PEEK
• Outdoor activities with SSF
• Food, snacks and drinks
• Free raffle
• Stalls

All events are free of charge, however spaces for some activities are limited so please contact the Community Centre on 0141 550 0036 or call our Thriving Places Team on 07904 429141 beforehand to put your name down. The Community Gala Day on 11th Aug is open to all.
