Playas (be play reading!) is a group for people who enjoy theatre/literature/acting and want to get to know some new or old plays with new and not so new people.

Absolutely no acting talent or experience required. ‘Unique’ interpretations and accidentally wayward accents (respectfully) encouraged. This is a group for people who enjoy theatre/literature/acting and want to get to know some new or old plays with new and not so new people. We take a script (or an extract) and read through basically - parts are divvied out as we go round the group, but if you’re preparing a role, it can be assigned to you. Recommendations for scripts very welcome, including your own!

£1 (for photocopying fees and my electric meter)

7.30pm every other Thursday at Curlers Rest, Glasgow
