Join Costa Book Award-winner and author Brian Conaghan in conversation with Chair of CILIP Youth Libraries Group Jennifer Horan, to celebrate the launch of his latest Young Adult novel, Treacle Town.
About Brian Conaghan Launches Treacle Town
An original and devastating novel about poverty and working class culture in modern Britain, Treacle Town follows Con O’Neill, who is desperate to escape his world of brutal gang violence, sectarian vendettas and personal tragedy.
We would advise that this event will contain descriptions of Gang Violence and language that some may find offensive as the novel reflects the harsh realities of life in a gang.
