Night Night: The Circus of Nightmares

About Night Night: The Circus of Nightmares

A SECOND SHOW HAS BEEN ADDED FOR FRIDAY 27TH OCTOBER

Contemporary circus performance plus Halloween party

What actually happens when you get trapped in a nightmare? Is it just your brain processing your deepest fears? Or is it your dream demon trying to trap you in the deepest darkness, where things you can't even imagine will torture you for eternity?

Night Night: The Circus of Nightmares peers into the shadows to explore the possibilities in an eerie, immersive experience with acrobatics including flying trapeze, static trapeze, aerial hoop, silks, rope and straps…and some other contemporary circus surprises.

Join the Aerial Edge performers on a journey that transcends time in this gripping show on Halloween weekend, when the veil between the living and the otherworld is at its thinnest, and anything could happen to snatch you away from the comfort of your beliefs.

In this immersive experience, you may relive those nightmare feelings of falling into an endless abyss...running terrified from an evil creature and feel that you'll never escape...waking up screaming.

It may be a very long time before you dare to drift off to the land of nod again.

Director Helen and filmographer Gabe are collaborating with a creative vision the like of which has never before been seen in Scottish circus performance.

As well as being the most ambitious show staged by the staff and instructors of Aerial Edge Circus School in this venue, Night Night is special because there will be Halloween trick-or-treat entertainment in the intermission, and a zombie disco afterwards.

Halloween fancy dress costumes aren't compulsory, but they ARE a lot of fun! So dig out your gear to become demons, zombies, monsters, historical figures or Barbies... whatever you want. There will be prizes for the best outfits!

PLEASE NOTE: Children are welcome however the Halloween theme of the show means that some scenes may be disturbing for younger children, and there will be strobe lights in use. If you’d like more information before deciding to bring children, just drop us a line at info@aerialedge.co.uk

Directed by HELEN ANDERSON
Performed by the instructors of Aerial Edge, Glasgow's Circus School: Helen Anderson, Heidi Brown, Hamish Jones, Nea Kunnari, Jeni Lin, Fox Mclavin, Mete Mercan, Freya Morton, Edd Muir, Luke Quadrio, Michelle Ross, Gabriel Stella
