The exhibition consists of fourteen panels introducing us to Dom and Bruno and tells us about their life and their work. Dom Phillips and Bruno Pereira were murdered last year in Brazilian Amazonia while researching a book Dom was writing called ‘How to Save the Amazon’.
The exhibition introduces the dangers that the rainforest is facing from deforestation, and illegal mining and fishing. The panels remind us that there are many actions that we in the global North can take to help to protect the Amazon and it showcases some hopeful solutions which Dom was researching – solutions which are much more likely to be replicated since Lula was elected as President of Brazil.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
