The talented Amicus Orchestra conducted by Chris George present great English masterpieces by Elgar and Walton at The Renfield Centre on Saturday 11th November!
About Amicus Orchestra Concert
The Variations on an original theme (or Enigma Variations) remains one of Elgar's most popular works, each variation sketches the clue to a friend in his life. Scott Dickinson, Principal Viola of the BBCSSO joins the orchestra to perform Walton's Viola Concerto - a perfect companion piece by the younger composer who revered Elgar.
