The human body is a complex object, which allows a budding artist to learn a variety of essential techniques. Observing and interpreting the shape of the human body trains an artist to see almost every form of curve, line, and subtle undulation found in nature.
It can help them evoke emotion in their own pieces even if they will choose to move on to non human subjects in the future. It's a serious workout for your drawing skills.
In this 2 part class, Yeonjoo will take you through line and proportion & then, in the 2nd class, students can expand their skills to learn more about tonal value and expressing mass. You can book each independently.
Various drawing mediums will be used including charcoal.
Suitable for complete beginners and improvers, these 2 classes provide an introduction which will allow entry into a future course to continue to develop intermediate skills.
Charcoal can be messy, so please wear old clothes or cover up. All materials needed are provided. Konst Art Classes are for adults only.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
