This one-off boozy disco brunch is a feast for all senses, packed with live disco entertainment, DJs, delicious food, and flowing drinks.
Dim Sum Disco is a new concept for Glasgow and the ideal way to make the most of your long weekend and the end of National BBQ month. Priced at £39.50pp, the stunning South East Asian bar and restaurant will welcome guests from 12pm until 6pm on Sunday 26th May for elevated entertainment and a day of exquisite cooked over fire Thai BBQ dishes, decadent cocktails, and live music performances. Great value tickets include a choice of three drinks or cocktails, alongside three small plates and entertainment.
Following a renovation and relaunching as Scotland’s first listening bar, Mamasan Bar, BBQ and Records has cemented itself as one of Glasgow’s hottest spots for food, cocktails and live DJs. Now, the very best DJs will soundtrack the Dim Sum Disco on Mamasan’s audiophile-grade sound system, alongside live music from vocalists and DJS, setting the scene for an epic day of disco and dim sum.
Guests to the one-off all dayer will dine on their choice of three small plates from Mamasan’s Thai BBQ menu - developed in partnership by head chef Finn Steel-Perkins, and Great British Menu star, Ali Borer. The full menu is slowly cooked over a custom built Firemade grill, using a combination of charcoal, wood and freshly pressed coconut husks to fully develop deep flavour and unforgettable aromas. Guests can indulge in succulent Satay Chicken Skewers drizzled with a rich peanut and clementine sauce, irresistible Caramel Wings marinated with chilli, coriander and sesame, flame grilled Corn with salted coconut cream, crispy garlic and dill or melt-in-your-mouth Sticky Beef Short Rib and much more.
The celebration doesn’t stop at the food. Mamasan’s audiophile-grade sound system will be pulsating with the beats of Glasgow’s top DJs, accompanied by live vocalists and musicians, setting the perfect backdrop for a day of dancing and dining. Tickets also include a choice of three innovative cocktails, wines, beer, fizz or premium spirit and mixer from an exclusive Dim Sum Disco menu to complete your brunch experience.
The city’s best DJs spin tracks in the luxe bar every Friday and Saturday night, making it the perfect spot for late-night cocktails, or small plates and wine after work. Drawing inspiration from 1950s Japanese listening bars, Mamasan blends intimate dining with a superior sound system, curated music and elegant cocktails.
Dim Sum Disco takes place on Sunday 26th May from 12 until 6pm. Spaces are limited, and tables can be booked 12pm, 2pm or 4pm.
£39.50pp includes entertainment, 3 small plates from Mamasan’s Thai BBQ menu and 3 x premium drinks per person.
