C.K. McDonnell Launches Relight My Fire

About C.K. McDonnell Launches Relight My Fire

About the Stranger Times series:
A series of smart, irreverent, occasionally rude and very funny comic/fantasy novels centred around a struggling Manchester-based weekly newspaper dedicated to investigating the weird, the unexplained and the inexplicable. The staff, made-up of a bizarre cast of characters, discover, accidentally, that not everything they report only exists in the minds of lunatics - it's very real and rather scary.

About Relight My Fire:
In Relight My Fire we see the various oddballs who work at the paper investigating an unusual outbreak of grave-robbing in Manchester's cemeteries. What nefarious reason might lie behind the snatching of recently interred loved ones? The team at The Stranger Times smells a rat (and a lot more besides), and when an army of resurrected celebrities surrounds their office their suspicions are confirmed. Original, outrageous and very funny, C.K. McDonnell has penned another special book in what is becoming a real fan-favourite series.

The author:
Born in Limerick and raised in Dublin, C.K. (Caimh) McDonnell is a former stand-up comedian and TV writer. He performed all around the world, had several well-received Edinburgh shows and supported acts such as Sarah Millican and Gary Delaney on tour. He has also written for numerous TV shows and been nominated for a Kid's TV BAFTA. He now writes The Stranger Times series as well as a self-published crime series which has sold over 1 million copies.
