The 'Scottish Photographic Circle Exhibition' is being hosted between 13 January and 15 February 2024. Admission is free.
It will include a range of stunning images from some of the country's finest amateur photographers – with subjects ranging from buildings and landscapes to nature, wildlife and people.
The Scottish Photographic Circle was founded in 1907 at a meeting of enthusiastic artists, who agreed that a society would be formed to promote pictorial photography in Scotland.
Since then, the group has gone from strength to strength and its exhibitions at the Auld Kirk are always popular.
Councillor Jim Gibbons, Chair of East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust – which operates the Auld Kirk, said: "We're delighted to welcome the Scottish Photographic Circle back to the museum. We have been fortunate enough to host its exhibitions for a number of years and I'm sure 2024 will be another success – showcasing a range of striking prints."
The 'Scottish Photographic Circle Exhibition' is on between 13 January and 15 February 2024 at the Auld Kirk Museum, Cowgate, Kirkintilloch, G66 1HN. Open Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-1pm and 2-5pm. Closed Sunday and Monday. Admission is free.
