Punch Needle is the art of punching wool through cloth with a punch needle tool to make decorative wool artworks such as mug rug coasters, wall hangings, carpets, and rugs etc.
By the end of this class you will have your own punch needle artwork AND you will be able to keep your punch needle tools after the class to continue your punch needle journey!
You will learn how to make your own punch needle artwork from start to finish from your own design, where you will have an endless selection of colours to choose from. You will learn how to set up your punch needle piece and how to do this on various frames in the future, how to use and adjust a punch needle and how to finish your piece off with fabric backing.
Punch Needle is for suitable for of all ages and is a stress free creative process. No previous experience or skill is required - anyone can make a punch needle artwork! Whether you need a therapeutic new hobby, you would like to learn a new skill or just have fun creating a piece of artwork - this class is for you!
