Step into the woods and slow down. By taking time to notice the natural world around us, forest bathing promotes relaxation and enhances wellbeing. A Forest Bathing walk is based on a series of invitations, to use your senses and connect with the natural world. It normally takes around two hours and Campsie Glen is a beautiful spot to spend time.
Meeting point: We start at the Campsie Glen Waterfall Car Park, known locally as the 'car park in the sky' off Crow Road (B822 North of Lennoxtown) for 10am and descend into the woodlands.
Finish time: 12pm (approx) We finish with tea at the waterfall near Clachan of Campsie and need to return to the car park so the likely end time is 12.30pm. If you like, you're welcome to make your own way back so you can visit the local cafe.
A previous participant said, "I had been feeling quite stressed at the time and the session really helped me. I felt great after it, very calm and balanced. I would highly recommend Whispering Woods as a lovely experience."
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
