 
Suitable for ages 14+
Learn to craft bowls and mugs using throwing, trimming, and glazing. Each 2-hour session offers hands-on guidance in small groups of up to 6 people for personalised attention. Take home 6-10 pieces. 
We use stoneware clay and custom in-house glazes. All items are food and dishwasher safe when glazed properly. 
Commitment to all five sessions is required. Dates announced quarterly and fill up fast—check availability and book online below.
Course Schedule: 
Week1: Getting to grips with the potter's wheel. Learning to throw a bowl form.
Week2: Learning to trim. Trimming bowls made in the week prior and learning how to create a foot ring.
Week 3: Learn how to throw a cylinder and experiment with shape and surface decoration.
Week 4: Trim your creations made in the week prior and learn how to make and apply handles.
Week 5: Learn how to glaze your pottery wares.
