The Alchemy Experiment is excited to welcome back DJ Eletricat for her third Brazilian sounds takeover.
Drawing from Afro-Brazilin culture, she infuses her electrifying style known as Axé, meagning Positive Energy, creating a dynamic listening experience for all. Born in northeast Brazil but having moved to Glasgow in 1991, DJ Eletricat's journey is deeply rooted in both her homeland and adopted city.
Her passion for music and dance ignited at a young age, leading her to teach dance and perform professionally by the age of 17. As Latin bars began to emerge in Glasgow, DJ Eletricat quickly made her mark, becoming a resident DJ at Havana, Cuba Norte, Favela, among other venues.
Not content with simply spinning tracks, she soon launched her own club night, Carnaval Club, attracting crowds hungry for authentic vibes, music, and live arts entertainment.
Join DJ Eletricat on a journey through the sounds of Brazil, as she invites you to experience the rich tapestry of her heritage and the inclusive spirit of both her home and adopted city.
