This summer, join us for our AMAZING ARTS sessions, lead by our trained community artists. Two hours of creative wellbeing and crafty fun for the young ones this holiday. (Approx age 5-12 years).
All sessions are £12 per child and run from 1-3pm in our workshop. Booking via our website.
Amazing Arts STEM week:
This week our Amazing Arts sessions are focussed on all things Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Sessions will look at movement, flight, construction, light, space and more.
Monday 8th July - Planet painting and nebula jars
Tuesday 9th July - Fossil prints and dinosaurs
Wednesday 10th July - cyanotype photography and shadow puppetry
Thursday 11th July - marble art, marble runs and construction
Amazing Arts Eco Arts Week:
This week our Amazing Arts sessions are focussed on reusing household materials to create something new. Looking at artists already using these materials for inspiration and teaching new creative techniques.
Monday 15th July - Paper e.g papier mache and paper clay bowls
Tuesday 16th July - cardboard e.g. make your initials into bookends
Wednesday 17th July (age 8+)- plastic e.g. bonding fibres to create bags and wall art
Thursday 18th July (age 8+)- fabric e.g scraps for scrunchies and wearable art
Amazing Arts Video Games Week:
This week our Amazing Arts sessions are focussed on creating crafts inspired by popular video games.
Monday 22nd July - pull back racers and balloon rockets inspired by Rocket League.
Tuesday 23rd July - felt characters and badge making inspired by Among Us.
Wednesday 24th July - junk modelled creepers and mosaics inspired by Minecraft.
Thursday 25th July - dart targets and badge making inspired by Fortnite.
Amazing Arts Natural Makers Week:
This week our Amazing Arts sessions are focussed on using natural materials to create wearable art and create beautiful handcrafted items.
Monday 29th July (age 8+) - candle making
Tuesday 30th July - handmade paper
Wednesday 31st July - flower pressing and floral crowns
Thursday 1st August - bracelets/ jewellery
We are an arts and play social enterprise for children and families with a focus on reuse. Every penny from our paid sessions supports delivery of our weekly, free to all, family crafting Saturdays in term time.
