The Mackintosh Choir. Summer Concert. World premiere of TANGO MASS Composed and conducted by Au Arias. Featuring World renowned Bandoneon player Nicolas Maceratesi - flying in from Italy for the performance and a String Quartet. Au Arias is Argentinian and took over role of Musical Director for the Glasgow based Mackintosh Choir – a Community Choir in June 2022.

The Tango Mass connects the music of Argentina (Tango) with the traditional Latin Mass setting. It will be accompanied by a bandoneon - bandoneon is the most distinctive instrument of Tango. It has the ability to touch souls with a single sustained note.

The Event will also feature Caledonia, songs from Scotland and Beyond.
