In this 4 day art school, students will learn painting and printmaking techniques in and beyond the classroom setting, exploring House for an Art Lover’s studios and outdoor area.
They will go on a walk round the garden looking for nature’s materials to create rubbings, prints, drawing tools and more. Students will get to experience making art in new ways to expand their creativity whilst learning and practicing new artistic techniques.
Please provide a snack (4-8 year olds) or lunch (9 - 13 year olds) as there will be a break!
Also be sure to wear a waterproof jacket/suncream as we will go outside regardless of weather.
YOUR TUTOR
Aimee Haldane is a Glasgow Based artist working in mixed media techniques. She graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2021 with a BA (Hons) in Sculpture and Environmental Art, and since has exhibited work, curated, and both facilitated and supported a variety of creative workshops for all abilities and ages. Aimee’s practice promotes imagination and expression through material play, while striving for accessibility to the arts. She has worked with groups such as Art in Hospital, Studio Pavilion, Glasgow School of Art, Art Space G41, Sew Confident and more.
