Circus Skills Camp

About Circus Skills Camp

Camp 1: Monday - Friday 15th - 19th July
Camp 2: Monday - Friday 5th - 9th August

5 days of circus fun - come for individual days or get a day FREE when you book all five. Learn awesome acrobatics and amazing aerial skills on trapeze, silks, hoop and rope plus trampoline.

Never done flying trapeze before? It's time to get started! This and the other aerial and acrobatic activities will keep you amused and you'll learn awesomely cool tricks too.

Don't worry if you've never done anything like this before. We live in a world where anyone can do circus, regardless of age, shape, size or physical abilities. It all begins at whatever stage YOU are at, depending on what YOU want. Circus is about creativity, and anything is possible.

Our supportive and encouraging instructors will help you to find out what you love. Everyone is capable of achieving some cool aerial and acrobatic moves, step by step.

If you're already agile and strong, they will make sure you find all sorts of new ways to challenge yourself using the circus equipment. If you enjoy dancing, gymnastics, acrobatics, parkour or trampoline, circus activities will actually develop those skills further, while you learn new arts – and you may find the freedom and creativity circus exhilarating.

You’ll be amazed what you can do in just one lesson. Aerial Edge, Glasgow's Circus School, has always been dedicated to developing people through circus, so instructors are experts at encouraging confidence and other life skills along with the ability to juggle and do flips and tricks on the tumble track or on the aerial equipment.

It’s all about collaboration rather than competition.

You can see videos of Youth Circus fun at www.aerialedge.co.uk and learn more in our blog about how circus and our teaching ethos is unparalleled among physical activities for developing the whole person. Specific areas including concentration, coordination, problem solving are being enhanced all the time.

Everything at Aerial Edge is learning through having fun, and anyone can do it, regardless of age, experience, body type or other factors. If you think you’ll need some assistance, just drop a note to info@aerialedge.co.uk outlining your situation.

You can book specific days at £60 each or come for all three days for £150. Parents can watch from the reception coffee area, or drop and go.

***If you enjoy this, you will love Youth Circus classes which run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, with a class for ages 1-7 on Fridays. And you can perform in the end-of-term show if you want!
