This workshop will run over two Saturdays - 7th and 14th September
Led by our fantastic seamstress Kat, who has been sewing for 20 years, this workshop will give you the confidence to use those sewing machines you have languishing in a cupboard or loft!
Date: 7th and 14th September
Time: 10am - 5pm
Duration: 4 x 3 Hour sessions over 2 Saturdays.
What's Included:
Materials Provided: All notions and materials you will need other than your main fabrics
Refreshments: Tea, coffee and cake provided
What You'll Need:
Your machine
Main fabric: Full details will be sent to you before your class but it will be approx. 2m
Lunch: or there are lots of options nearby to get lunch
What You'll Learn:
How to set up your machine: including threading, winding a bobbin, what each of the stitches are for
3 x great beginner projects
What You'll Make:
Sturdy Tote Bag: including making the handles
Mug Rug: featuring your stitch sampler, some introductory quilting and how to bind a quilted project
Zipped Pouch: with depth, great to holding your essential sewing tools and notions
