The Bubblyjock Collective is a collaboration between Rosie Lavery (soprano), Anna Michels (piano) and Neil Sutcliffe (free-bass accordion), celebrating the music of neglected Scottish composers. They perform songs and music written by composers born or living in Scotland from the 19th century to the present day; works influenced by Scottish culture, languages, and history, as well as an international outlook.
They will share a programme of Scottish art songs and instrumental music by four Scottish composers: Marie Dare (1902-76) from Fife; Ronald Center (1913-73) from Aberdeen; Ronald Stevenson (1928-2015) originally from Lancashire, but living most of his life in West Linton; and Padruig Morrison (b.1996) crofter and Gaelic composer from South-Uist.
