After a string of sell out events in the US, Amazing Silent Disco brings its surreal dance party to the UK in the historic setting of The Old Fruitmarket. Steeped in history, step back in time as you dance, sing and snap selfies with your besties overlooked by stunning cast-iron balconies, lofty vaulted ceilings, and original signage from market traders of days gone by.
For one night only, this truly unique space will be converted into a giant dancefloor with a bar, nightclub-quality lights, visual effects, and, of course, three amazing DJs simultaneously blasting tunes from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s for the ultimate throwback party. Already an international phenomenon, this will be a retro disco you don’t want to miss!
WHAT TO EXPECT
On arrival you will be supplied with a set of wireless, light up headphones. We've streamlined the distribution so everyone can get on the dancefloor quicker.
Each pair of headphones has a switch allowing you to toggle back and forth between our three live DJs.
Head to the dancefloor and watch the spectacle unfold as a mass of humanity throws shapes and sings along to what appears to be complete silence.
The three DJs will be performing side by side from a stage within the main market hall, and each will be playing a carefully curated setlist dedicated to three iconic decades of music.
DJ1: 80’s
Step back in time to the electrifying era of the 1980s, where big hair, bold fashion, and even bigger beats ruled the airwaves. The tunes from musical legends like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Queen, and Whitney Houston will have you singing all night long for sure!
DJ2: 90’s
Feel like gettin' jiggy? This is the channel for you! Phat beats from Brittany Spears, Eminem, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, N-Sync and more will keep the vibes going all night long.
DJ3: 00’s
With a "naughty" mix of pop, hip-hop, and everything in between, we'll be serving up bangers you can’t resist. From the bootylicious beats of Beyoncé and Shakira to the unforgettable tunes of Usher, Lady Gaga, The Killers and more, the noughties channel will be totally off the charts!
