Foundation paper piecing involves taking small pieces of fabric and machine stitching them to a paper template to create a patchwork style design. This method of patchwork is great for achieving crisp lines on more unusual shapes.
In this class we will show you how to build up your shape using foundation paper piecing, ensuring you understand the correct order in which to do so. We will be using the Santa Hat block pattern from Little Black Duck. This pattern can be made into a cushion, as part of a quilt or even as a wall hanging.
This class is ideal for those who’ve been along to our Beginners Quilting Class already! We’re ready to take your quilting to the next level!
Please note we will not be covering quilting or binding as you will already have mastered these techniques in our Beginners Class.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
