The exhibition has over 60 photographs throughout Alan's career from 1979 up to the late 1990’s including many of his commissions when he was the 1990 City of Culture official photographer. Included in the exhibition is Dame Judi Dench, Billy Connolly, Frank Sinatra, Peter McDougall, Elaine C Smith, Leonard Bernstein, Alasdair Gray as well as a set of pictures of Nelson Mandela when he came to receive his Freedom of the City in Oct 1993.

Alan is now 70 and has been a photographer for over 45 years, living in Knightswood.
