Outside In features people from 21 countries, from across the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania, exploring how migrants have influenced different areas of life, from fashion to tea brewing and martial arts. Visitors can not only learn but also contribute their insights about migrant communities and Scottish links to their countries.
This exhibition is part of the Putting Ourselves in the Picture project. It aims to ensure that migrant heritage is documented and recognised as part of Scotland’s heritage.
You can find out more about the exhibition and the individual participants on migrantvoicegallery.org.
Outside In has been organised by Migrant Voice and was funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
