Need a break from the grind and fancy a good book, a bit of a banter and a wee beverage? Welcome to Dior’s Bookclub at Dear Josephines Lounge, where it's all about ditching the daily stress and diving headfirst into a cracking read and even better conversation.
This isn’t your typical book club—this is for the imperfect book girlies who want to have a laugh, discover some fab reads, and enjoy a laid-back night in a boujee space with fellow book lovers or newbies. Whether you’re too busy to finish the book (don’t worry, we won’t judge!) or you’ve got plenty to say about what you read, Dior’s Bookclub is all about good vibes and good reads.
What to Expect:
Everyone gets a wee welcome drink on arrival—whether you’re into the secco, water or wine we’ve got you covered.
All about the banter, no pressure here—whether you’ve finished the book or not, there’s no such thing as a wrong opinion. We’ll chat, laugh, and share what we loved (or didn’t) about the read.
Top tier prizes are on offer! After our book banter, we’ll have a cheeky quiz with prizes from our fabulous local suppliers up for grabs!
We will vote for the next read on the night. This will be a little bit of everything—romance, thrillers, fantasy, memoirs—you name it. Each month we’ll dive into a new book that’ll have you hooked.
Kindness is our culture, this isn’t about being the perfect reader—it’s about being yourself and enjoying the company of other book lovers. Whether you’re a lifelong reader or new to the game, everyone’s welcome & for the solo girlies look out for the "This must be the place" signs.
Why Join:
Life’s hectic and a good book can be epic, so let’s unwind together over some good chat & a wee tipple. While meeting like-minded book babes who want to bond over stories, share recommendations, and make new friends.
So, if having fun and escaping the day to day is your vibe come along to Dior’s Bookclub. There’s no need to finish the book (but I'd love it if you did!). Just bring yourself, your thoughts, and a thirst for a good time. See you there, book girlies!
Please note tickets are non refundable.
