Kim’s Video follows modern-day cinephile and filmmaker, David Redmon, on a seemingly idealistic quest to track down the whereabouts of the massive video collection of the now-defunct Kim’s Video. This iconic New York City video rental store had more than 55.000 beloved and rare movies.
This is a unique opportunity to discover this incredible story within the setting of Scotland's national film archive.
Before the screening, there will be a chance to meet one of our curators and handle some analogue media formats. Bring along your favourite VHS or DVD and tell us all about it!
This event is in collaboration with Cinetopia.
5pm: Analogue media formats handling session
6pm: Screening begins
Please note this film is rated 18. Any minors attending should be accompanied by an adult.

Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
